Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your data.

1. Data we collect

  • Account details (name, email) provided through Clerk authentication.
  • Device registration data (serial, manufacturer, model, computer name, notes).
  • Images you upload for label capture and extraction.
  • CSV/XLSX files you upload for bulk import.
  • Operational metadata such as timestamps and basic usage telemetry.

2. How we use data

  • Provide device registration and bulk import workflows.
  • Support administrative review and Intune upload operations.
  • Secure the service, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
  • Respond to support requests.

3. Sharing and processors

We share data only as needed to operate the service. Core processors include:

  • Clerk (authentication) — Privacy Policy
  • Convex (data infrastructure) — Security
  • Microsoft Graph (Intune actions) when admins initiate Intune operations.

4. Security and compliance

We rely on SOC-compliant infrastructure providers and industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

  • Convex states SOC 2 Type II compliance and supports GDPR and HIPAA where applicable — Convex Security
  • Clerk provides SOC 2 Type II audit reports for customer audits and participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework — Clerk DPA

5. Data retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service or comply with legal obligations. Administrators can delete device records and associated uploads through the app when appropriate.
